MAC Pressed Pigments 2013.

Hello Beauties! Today's posts features a couple of the new MAC Pressed Pigments. I'm so happy I decided to try these because they are absolutely stunning and very easy to work with. Take a look at the two I picked up, enjoy.

Pink Pepper, Damson

Pink Pepper - "Deep coral with gold pearl"

Damson - "Deep brown with gold pearl"

Swatches

Pink Pepper, Damson

The swatch really doesn't do justice for either of them. They have a great sparkle and shine that has glitter but not too glitter-y if that makes sense. I apply them but spraying my face with Fix + and a flat paddle brush. I don't experience fall out by using that method.

These each retail for $21 and they are both limited edition. If you can get your hands on these I really recommend getting them.

Please leave any questions or comments below.

Thanks for reading!

Ben Nye Haul.

Hello Beauties! Today I'm sharing a few photos & swatches of some Ben Nye creme products. It includes a mix of mostly the creme colors, one creme blush or rouge, and a creme highlight.

I purchased these items from Makeup Mania online.
They each retail for $5.95.
The creme colors can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips. The creme highlight all over the face and the creme rouge states usage for the face.

Ben Nye Creme Color - Bright Pink
Ben Nye Creme Rouge - Coral
Ben Nye Creme Highlight - Deep (CH -5)

Swatches

Bright Pink, Coral, Dark

Ben Nye Creme Color - Orange
Ben Nye Creme Color - Yellow
Ben Nye Creme Color - Vivid Violet

Swatches

Orange, Yellow, Vivid Violet

Ben Nye Creme Color - Lime Green
Ben Nye Creme Color - Gecko Green
Ben Nye Creme Color - Green

Swatches

Lime Green, Gecko Green, Green

Ben Nye Creme Color - Turquoise
Ben Nye Creme Color - Sky Blue
Ben Nye Creme Color - Blue

Swatches

Turquoise, Sky Blue, Blue

So far I've used the creme colors as eye shadow bases to make the colors pop. They do a really good job but I would recommend using a primer before hand & they do crease so I would also make sure to smooth/blend out before eye shadow application.

I planned on using the creme highlight to highlight under my brow bone but it may be a bit too pink for that.

Summer FOTD's 5.

Hello Beauties! I cannot believe it's August already. I can say that this Summer has been a good Summer for makeup for me. Meaning that I got to use a lot of my collection by constantly rotating products and also adding some new products into the rotation. On to the looks, enjoy!

Very bright colorful look
MAC Magenta lip pencil. RiRi Boy lipstick. Feel My Pulse Lipstick.

I did this fun look using some of my Wet N Wild eye shadows
MAC Korean Candy Sheen Supreme lipstick

Double winged liner using Lime Crime's Blue Milk liquid liner
NYX's Euro Trash matte lipstick and Buttery Nude Xtreme lip cream

Finally something neutral
Aside from MAC's Naked Dark pigment on my brow bone, all the other eye shadows are from Coastal Scents.
I picked up a few of their hot pots during the latest sale and I haven't used any other shadows since.
I'll have pics and swatches coming really soon.

NYX Pure Red matte lipstick

The star of this look is the blue shadow, Brandeis Blue, another shade from Coastal Scents

No Naked Sunday
Again all Coastal Scents shadows, MAC pigments in Tan (on the lid) and Naked Dark (on the brow bone)
