8 Fall Lip Colors Under $8.

Hello Beauties! Today I have a quick post sharing some new lip products I picked up for the Fall and Winter months. Technically they are all under $7 but I thought 8 went better in the title LOL, enjoy!

I can appreciate that drug store lip products are now coming wrapped but it took a solid 10 minutes to take all that off..

These are all really nice lip products but my favorite out of the bunch are the new NYX lip creams. The texture is really nice and they look even better on the lips. The have a semi-matte/satin finish and for me about a 5 hour wear without noticeable fading. A+ in my book. 

The L.A. Girl Glaze Lip Paints are very reminiscent of the OCC Liptars but the consistency is a tab bit more runny if that makes any sense. I had some difficulties swatching the deepest shade, Tempt. I definitely recommend using a liner first, maybe even one of those anti-feathering lip liners to prevent bleeding.

OCC Lip Tars + Swatches.

Hello Beauties! If you recall from my Top 12 of 2012 post I talked about a product that was not new but new to me, the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic Lip Tars. Ever since I tried one out I have been in love. I've acquired a few more shades since last year and I figured I share them. Enjoy!

The pigmentation on these babies are insane. A very (I do mean very) little does a long way. 

I would recommend using a lip brush for precise application and maybe your finger to touch up during the day. Not many touchups are needed because once they set they are on there. I can get a good 6 hours from these. 

If you pay close attention longevity is something I like in in a lip product. Once it's there I want it to be there. Usually because I'm going to forget to reapply.

I really love the color. The finish is semi-matte/satin. It wore on me for around 5 hours without having to reapply. 

I can admit I don't reach for lipsticks in the pencil form so hopefully this won't be the case with this one as well.

If it matters to you it smells really good. Reminds me of something sweet.

Hello Beauties! I know I was hesitant to do a post on the items I picked up from the Fashion Sets collection but I believe a few places (like Nordstrom) still have the pencils available. Also Ablaze and Heroine lip pencils are coming back in July so definitely keep an eye out for that.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids.

Hello Beauties and Happy New Year! Today I'm sharing my picks from the new Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids lipstick line. They recently released 10 shades and I picked up 6 of them. I love bright lipsticks so I was really interested in checking these out.

I initially only bought one of these because I've tried Maybelline lipsticks in the past and was not a huge fan but after trying it out and wearing it out for a whole day (I only had to touch up once) I decided to get the rest of the colors I was interested in. 

So far I really like them and I'm really impressed. The only one that takes some layering to get good pigmentation on my lips is Brazen Berry but it's still a gorgeous color. I recommend applying a lip pencil and filling in the lips before applying. 

I think these are a nice addition to the Color Sensational line and I recommend checking them out!

MAC Morange Lipglass.

Hello Beauties! As you may or may not know MAC recently released their Fashion Sets collection which features lipsticks with corresponding lipglasses and nail polishes.

 I initially was going to skip this collection all together as most of the lipsticks were permanent shades that I either have or weren't interested in and I not a huge fan of their lipglasses because they are sticky. & the price of those nail polishes are a total no for me.

 BUTTTT after reading a few blogs that the lipglasses weren't as sticky as usual I starting looking through my own collection and realized that I do not have a true orange lip gloss, all of the ones I own lean more on the coral side of orange.

 I decided to decided to pick order Morange lipglass. I have a few true orange lipsticks like MAC's Neon Orange that I figured would be paired nicely with this lip gloss. Also those new Wet-N-Wild lipsticks that I love but I feel like they need a gloss.
