Jordana Cosmetics Haul.

*taps MIC* Is this thing on?.. LOL Hello Beauties! I know it's been...a while...since I've posted but I'm here today to share some pictures and swatches of the Jordana items I picked up after seeing photos from the lovely Rai of glam-morena.com. I ordered all of the products online from their website, they have free shipping over $25. Enjoy!

Jordana Powder Blush - $2.49
Peach Blossom - Pink Beauty - Coral Radiance

Swatches

Jordana Matte Lipstick - $1.49

Matte Red - Matte Cafe - Matte Rouge - Matte Terra Cotta

Swatches

Matte Tangerine Tango - Matte Sweet Sorbet (NOT matte at all) - Matte Fiery Coral - Matte Rose Lust

Swatches

Matte Plum Obsession - Matte Classic Nude - Matte Blazing Mango - Matte Poppy Pink

Swatches

So far I really like everything I picked up but the blushes are by far my favorites here. They have such an amazing quality especially for the price. The lipsticks are very matte and can be drying throughout wear but nothing unmanageable. They last on me around 5-6 hours on me and the brighter shades also leave behind a stain. Easily removed with a makeup wipe.  My favorite out the bunch is Poppy Pink.

OCC Lip Tars + Swatches.

Hello Beauties! If you recall from my Top 12 of 2012 post I talked about a product that was not new but new to me, the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic Lip Tars. Ever since I tried one out I have been in love. I've acquired a few more shades since last year and I figured I share them. Enjoy!

Nylon - Almost fluorescent pink
 Anime - Blue based fuchsia
Pretty Boy - Bright clean pink
(I know they all look the same but, trust me, they're slightly all different)

Swatches

Nylon, Anime, Pretty Boy

Hoochie - Bright magenta
Belladonna (it's DC'ed I believe) - Blue based purple

Hoochie, Belladonna

Grandma - Bright coral
 Melange - Terracotta

Grandma, Melange

Stalker - Blue based red
Vintage - Deep burgundy

Swatches

Stalker, Vintage

The pigmentation on these babies are insane. A very (I do mean very) little does a long way.

I would recommend using a lip brush for precise application and maybe your finger to touch up during the day. Not many touchups are needed because once they set they are on there. I can get a good 6 hours from these.

If you pay close attention longevity is something I like in in a lip product. Once it's there I want it to be there. Usually because I'm going to forget to reapply.

Do you have any of these? Any other shades you would recommend?

Thanks so much for reading!

Summer FOTD's 2013.

Hello Beauties! Last year I did similar posts and I wanted to start doing these again (it's my lazy way of doing but not doing "Face of the Day" posts). I'll start by stating this year (like I did last) I know it's technically not Summer but my Summer starts in May LOL. Hope you enjoy!

"Purple smokey eye//nude lips"
MAC Spoiled Rich Quad + Indian Ink
NYX Buttery Nude Xtreme lip cream

"Bright on Bright"
Some of my latest favorite shadows: MAC Parrot (lid), Farasha (crease)
MAC Daddy's Little Girl lipstick

"Lazy Daze"
This is my "school" makeup but I also wear it when I'm heading out & don't feel like doing much else
NYX Shocking Pink lipstick//If you're wondering about that glow it's from the new Maybelline illuminator

"Bad Hair Day"
This one of my favorite neutral eye combos: MAC Blonde's Gold Pigment, Saddle and Soft Brown in the crease. Really quick and easy.
I'm also back in love with MAC's Refine Golden bronzer//Lady Danger on the lips

"Naked Sundays"
I still use my UD Naked palette on Sundays. I also use the Naked Basics palette along with it.
I love how it gives the option of matte colors.
NYX Bloody Mary lipstick//Cargo Laguna Blush

"Feel My Pulse"
I used most of the products I hauled from the new Temperature Rising collection
Ripe For Love blush//Golden Elixir strobe liquid lotion//Feel My Pulse lipstick

Which one was your favorite?

MAC Sounds Like Noise Lipstick.

Hello Beauties! This post features MAC Sounds Like Noise lipstick. It's a Limited Edition orange lipstick recently released in an online only collaboration collection 'MAC x Haley Williams'. The collection has a few other items but I skipped them (I previously owned the Mineralize Skin Finish).

Sounds Like Noise Lipstick

Description: "Bright true orange"
Finish: Matte
Price: $15
Where to buy: MAC online only

Swatch

I am a lover of matte lipstick and bright, bold lipsticks so I was really excited to try it out. It is unique to my collection because all my other orange lipsticks have red undertone and this one does not. I really recommend trying out this lipstick while it's still available.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids.

Hello Beauties and Happy New Year! Today I'm sharing my picks from the new Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids lipstick line. They recently released 10 shades and I picked up 6 of them. I love bright lipsticks so I was really interested in checking these out.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids

I purchased all mine from Walmart for $5.50 each but prices may vary depending on individual retailers.

Description: "Now bright goes gorgeous, never garnish. Brighter color from our exclusive vivid pigments. Creamier feel from nourishing honey nectar."

More Pics and Swatches!

From left: Fuchsia Flash, Shocking Coral, Vivid Rose, Vibrant Mandarin, Hot Plum, Brazen Berry

I initially only bought one of these because I've tried Maybelline lipsticks in the past and was not a huge fan but after trying it out and wearing it out for a whole day (I only had to touch up once) I decided to get the rest of the colors I was interested in.

So far I really like them and I'm really impressed. The only one that takes some layering to get good pigmentation on my lips is Brazen Berry but it's still a gorgeous color. I recommend applying a lip pencil and filling in the lips before applying.

I think these are a nice addition to the Color Sensational line and I recommend checking them out!

Product Rave: NYX Xtreme Lip Creams.

Hello Beauties! There's a product that I've recently discovered that I am in love with! They are the NYX Xtreme Lip Creams. Believe it or not I do not care much for lip gloss. I just don't like the feel of it on the lips, I do not like how my hair gets stuck to it when the wind blows I can ramble on forever as to why I do not like it but when I found these they were perfect for me. They are a mix between a lipstick and a lip gloss (like a liquid lipstick) and I just love the texture and how they feel applied to the lips.

NYX Xtreme Lip Creams

From left to right: Strawberry Jam, Bonfire, Spicy, Dolly Girl, Buttery Nude

Description: "It's not a lipstick nor is it gloss. It's like nothing you've experienced before. It's a liquid lipstick that goes on with fill Xtreme color and intense shine."
Price:  around $6
Size: 0.23 oz/ 7ml
Where to buy: Ulta stores/online and other NYX retailers

These really are amazing! They are really pigmented, you can layer these on top of a lipstick but I think they look great alone or just with a lip pencil. I almost skipped out on Buttery Nude but I'm so glad I did not because it's the perfect nude for me.

I can't say which ones are my favorite because I really adore them all. I really recommend checking these out. I know I have mostly bright colors but there are some more toned down colors available also.

I've read that the smell bothers some people but it does not really bother me. I will say they don't have the best smell but it is not terrible.

MAC Reel Sexy Haul: Initial Thoughts + Swatches.

Hello Beauties! Here's my post with what I hauled from the MAC Reel Sexy Collection. I only picked up lip products from this collection although I do have my eye on Magenta Blush. Lately from the new MAC collections the lipsticks have been the stars of the show. They have been beautiful bright and bold colors and that's exactly what I love in a lipstick. I did haul Watch Me Shimmer from the Shop MAC collection but I included it in this post with swatches. I also purchased one cremesheen glass, those are my favorite lip glosses ever.

From left to right:
Star Quality Cremesheen Glass
Reel Sexy Lipstick
Heroine Lipstick
Watch Me Shimmer Lipstick

*Price: 19.50 for the cremesheen glass, 14.50 for the lipsticks
*Amount: 2.7 ml  for the cremesheen glass, 3 g for the lipsticks
*Where to buy: MAC website or local store/counter

Reel Sexy lipstick

Initial thoughts: I am really loving all of these. MAC lipsticks are my favorite lipsticks and these are no different. They are all really pigmented and they have a great staying power for me. I was a bit hesitant about Reel Sexy lipstick because I thought it would be too light but paired with NYX orange lip pencil it looks wonderful. I'm really happy about adding these to my collection and I'm happy I got my hands on these. As of now I know all of the lipsticks are sold out on the MAC website so I would try looking for these at a local counter or in store.

Lipstick Haul.

Hello Beauties! Lately (as in this month) it seems like all I've been buying in lipstick. Here are a few I've picked up recently that I think would be perfect for Spring.

*Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - Fuchsia Fusion
*MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick - Korean Candy
*Wet-N-Wild Mega Shine Lipstick - Cora-line 909D

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - Fuchsia Fusion
This is a really vivid fuchsia color. I usually don't go for pearl finish lipstick so I never paid this l/s any attention until I went to Ulta and one of the ladies that work there had this on and it was so pretty I had to get it.

MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick - Korean Candy
This lipstick has been on my MAC list for a while but when Beverly from Fully Beatable did a look using this lipstick it took it from want to NEED! It is a part of the permanent line of Sheen Supreme lipsticks. This is a gorgeous highly pigmented orange-red color.

Wet-N-Wild Mega Shine Lipstick - Cora-line 909D
I don't know how I missed this lipstick because I have almost all of the Mega Shine lipsticks but somehow I did. Maybe it was meant to be because Rite Aid had this lipstick for 75% off which is a steal since it was on $2.99 to begin with. It's a really pretty coral color that leans more on the orange side.
