Crown Brush Haul.

Hello Beauties! Over the 4th of July weekend Crown Brush had a 40% off everything in store sale which was perfect because after watching a few IMATS hauls I really wa nted to try some of their brushes. I ordered a total of 22 brushes but some where duplicates so they aren't featured in this haul.

My latest brush obsession has been angled contour brushes. I picked up these 3.

C435 - Large Contour Blush
C405 - Contour Blush
IB105 - Angle Blush
*So far I've used to 1st two and I LOVE them.

SS010 Deluxe Chisel Powder

IB108 - Deluxe Oval Shadow
IB119 - Deluxe Crease
IB131 - Angle Liner / Spoolie

C433 - Pro Blending Fluff
C440 - Pro Angle Shadow
C441 - Pro Blending Crease
C431 - Precision Pencil

C425 - Tapered Concealer
C421 Mini Concealer

SS012 - Deluxe Crease
SS008 - Deluxe Eyeliner

They gave this Flawless Face Blender as a free gift with purchase. I'm not sure yet it if I'm going to try it out or give it to my mom.

So far I've only got to try a few of these but so far I'm really impressed.

I washed them all and only the only brush out of them all that shed a few hairs was the Large Contour Blush brush.

Have you tried any of these brushes?

Victoria's Secret - The Nakeds palette.

Hello Beauties! This post features the new neutral palette from Victoria's Secret. It features 12 neutral shades, a dual-ended eye shadow brush, and a black eye liner. You can purchase these from Victoria's Secret (in stores/online) for $28.

I think the packaging is really pretty. It is very reminiscent of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette but it isn't made of the same material and it has a flip top with a magnetic closure. I really like the set up.

It also comes with a card with the names of each shadow. Also on the other side of the card are some ideas on how to create looks using the palette.

As of when I purchased (late June) they were giving these small cosmetic bags for free with $30 purchase. I think it's so adorable. I'd use this to put my lipsticks in my bag that I'm using that day.

Swatches

From left: Barely Pink, Copper Sand, Graystone, Brown Sable, Sparkling Black

Fron Left: Warm Vanilla, Tawny Pink, Smoky Lilac, Sparkling Brown, Charcoal Black

So far I really like this palette. I do wish there were more matte shades. The black liner actually is okay but the brush is trash.

Hello Beauties! Lately I've been getting some really great deals and the drug store. I had quite a few Wet n Wild 1.00 off coupons and recently Rite Aid had WnW for 40% off. The majority of these items I only paid .54 cents. The sales clerk was in awe. I also went to Walgreen's, the CVS 75% sale and Target. Here's what I got.

Wet n Wild Fast Dry nail color - Saved by the Blue
Wet n Wild Megalast salon nail color - Sugar Coat
Wet n Wild Megalast salon nail color - I Red a Good Book

Ioni Cosmetics Haul.

Hello Beauties! So on my way home the other day I stopped at the dollar store on the corner by my new apartment for some chips. Out of pure curiosity I went to the cosmetic aisle just to see what was there.

I was expecting to see L.A. Colors, Cover Girl, and maybe e.l.f. Then I noticed towards the end a few black boxes at 1st I thought it was e.l.f.'s studio but as I got closer I saw the packaging read Ioni Cosmetics. I also noticed that everything was $1.00 so I thought why not give this brand a try.

Ioni Cosmetics - Lip gloss
Cappuccino
Fanciful
Dolly

Ioni Cosmetics- Lipstick
 Ballet
Runway
Coy

Swatches from left:
Dolly, Fanciful, Cappuccino, Ballet, Runway, Coy

Initial thoughts:
Honestly I'm glad that I picked these items up. The lip glosses remind me of the MAC cremesheen glasses (my favorite glosses) and the lipsticks are really creamy and pigmented. The packing of the lipstick is not the best. It reminds me of the WnW megalast lipsticks, I love those lipsticks but I don't like the packaging.

I like the glosses better than the lipsticks, mainly because I don't care for the texture. I prefer a matte/satin finish and these are a little too creamy for me. But the pigmentation is amazing.

Have you ever tried anything from this brand?

June 2012 Favorites.

Hello Beauties! Here's a few products that I showed a lot of love to in June. I was in the process of moving and traveling quite a bit so I only had a portion of my collection with me. I can say it was fun trying to create looks and only using what I had with me. Of the things I had, these are the things I used the most.

1. Make Up For Ever empty magnetic palette

This was by far my favorite thing. Before I packed up my palettes I took out shades I thought I'd reach for the most. This is eye shadows and blushes compiled from 8 different palettes. I have MAC, Coastal Scents, MUFE, Inglot, and La Femme. My only gripe is the MAC magnets are terrible and the move around when placed in my suitcase. I need to pick up a lining for the inside.

2. MAC MSF - Red Head
This was a life saver because I did not really have an inner corner highlight packed in my palette so I used this quite a bit for that reason and to highlight my cheek bones as well.

3. MAC EDSF - Glorify
I think this is the prettiest thing I've bought this year so far. I absolutely love pairing it with my coral/orange blushes.

4. NARS Blush - Liberté
I really like the color of this blush. It is very unique to my collection and I found myself using it a lot this past month.

1. L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caress Lipstick - Violet Chiffon
I bought this at the beginning of June and used almost daily. It's a gorgeous color that reminds me of a toned down version of MAC's Up the Amp.

2. MAC Cremesheen Glass - Star Quality
This is a nice grab and go color for me. It's pigmented enough to wear by itself.

3. MAC Lipstick - Quick Sizzle
Love, Love, Love this pink lipstick. I need MAC to make it permanent! LOL

I also was loving Essie's Shine of the Times top coat (forgot to upload the pic). I really like the effect and how it give the nail polish a whole new look. I was hesitant at 1st because of the price but I'm glad I got it.

What were some of your June favorites?

Thanks so much for viewing!
